The Footsteps I Follow: Authors I Admire - Guest Post: Kristin Flynn

I love the imagery and emotion that Nicholas Sparks brings in his work. He holds his audience captive, and that is something that I am hoping to achieve. This can also be said for Alison Gaskin Bailey. S.C. Stephens can have you rooting for the bad boy and that has to be saying something. Kelly Elliot has the sweetest saga out there, I think. I can read a Michelle Valentine book in two days. Oh and Kristen Proby too. Tara Sivec has me spitting my coffee/wine out at the computer screen. She’s hilarious.

Review: Saving Georgia by Kristin Flynn

Title: Saving Georgia
Author: Kristin Flynn
Format: E-book (Kindle)
Date Read: November 10-11, 2013
Rating: 4/5
Recommend: Definitely

Summary: Senior year isn't supposed to suck, but the normal stresses of Senior year, for a girl who suffers mental and emotional issues the normal stresses are compounded and feel like torture. This is Georgia's life. Orphaned and tortured, she finally has found some peace and is thrown into a love triangle between a cowboy and the popular quarterback. Will Georgia be able to choose who she wishes to persue a relationship with or will she crumble under the pressure as prom and graduation lurk just around the corner.

Review:
I was given an ARC of this book by the Author in exchange for an honest review.

OH MY GOODNESS! I devoured this book in a matter of hours truth be told. I don't think I actually slept and just read it straight through in one sitting. It was that good. I was instantly sucked into the story spun by Kristin Flynn, and am desperately waiting for the next book in this series, which will no doubt have me just as sucked into Georgia's story.

The characters are absolutely fantastic, and even if I were a normal girl, trying to decide between the two guys vying for Georgia's attention would be a difficult decision! The characters are so well written and make me want to have them in my life. Seriously.

I do not have any complaints about this book at all, and I would greatly recommend this story to anyone who loves strongly created characters. We've all known someone like the mean girls in this story, the hot male best friend, the hot quarterback, and even the reformed mean girl.

Okay, I lied, I have one complaint...THAT CLIFF HANGER ENDING!! I want more damn it, seriously give me more. Next book please! I advise you to also check out the playlist that goes with this book, it's a really good one and definitely fits the story crafted by Kristin Flynn.

Can't wait for book two to get here.
